East Renfrewshire Golf Club Fundraising Efforts for Health Charity

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the members of the ladies team at East Renfrewshire Golf Club in Newton Mearns for their fantastic fundraising efforts to support a health charity in Scotland; understands that the ladies team raised a total amount of £1,720 for Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland; acknowledges that £600 was raised at a Christmas event and the further £1,120 was generated at on open day in June 2024; recognises that Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland supports people who have experienced a stroke or been diagnosed with a chest or heart condition, and commends the ladies team at East Renfrewshire Golf Club for organising the festive and summer fundraising events to support the charity.
