Ayrshire’s Most Senior Police Officer Awarded the King’s Police Medal

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Chief Superintendent Faroque Hussain, Ayrshire’s most senior Police Officer, on receiving the King’s Police Medal; understands that Chief Superintendent Hussain was presented with the medal by His Majesty The King at a special ceremony at Holyrood Palace; notes that he joined Strathclyde Police in 1999, becoming chief superintendent in 2019 and divisional commander for Ayrshire in 2020; congratulates Chief Superintendent Hussain on this significant achievement, and wishes him every success for the future.
