Congratulating Burntisland and District Pipe Band on its Achievements at the World Pipe Band Championships 2024

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Burntisland and District Pipe Band on its achievements at the World Pipe Band Championships 2024; understands that it won second place for Grade 3B band, fourth place for Novice B band, and that Catherine Spears, drum major, won first place in the Junior Drum Major category; further understands that it won Champion of Champions in band for G3B and Champion of Champions in drumming for G3B; congratulates the organisation on its success, and recognises the hard work of the Pipe Band members, tutors and volunteers; commends the effort that the Pipe Band puts in to continuing to develop young talent, and wishes the group good luck in its future competitions and performances.
