Scottish Women in Business Awards Returns after Five Years

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the return of The Scottish Women in Business (SWIB) Awards after a five-year hiatus; notes that the event celebrates females in business across Scotland as well as celebrating and recognising supporters and champions of Scottish women in business; understands that it will be the first awards held by SWIB, the leading business networking club for women in Scotland, since before the COVID-19 pandemic; notes that finalists from across the country have been announced for the ceremony, which takes place at The Corinthian, Glasgow, on 6 September 2024; considers that the event is a chance for Scotland’s women in business, and those who recognise and support them, to connect, network, collaborate and celebrate each other; believes that the community of women business owners and leaders in Scotland is fast-growing, and wishes all those nominated the best of luck.
