Springburn Community Festival Hailed Huge Success

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates all those involved in the Springburn Community Festival, which took place on 24 August 2024; believes that the festival was the biggest and best one yet; understands that for the third year in a row, thousands of residents took to Springburn Way, the shopping centre and the leisure centre to take part in activities, games, and enjoy food and drink; notes that the area was lined with stalls of food vendors and local community groups; understands that the festival was organised by Spirit of Springburn and has been crowned the "highlight of the North Glasgow calendar", and notes that the aim of the festival was to bring the whole community together and participate in a joyful day.
