Annual Golf Day Raises Record Sum for Scottish Autism

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the news that a record sum was attained for Scottish Autism at its annual golf fundraiser; understands that, held in partnership with SG Pro Cleaning in Alloa, the golf day at Craigielaw Golf Course in East Lothian raised over £16,000 for the charity; notes that the event, which was hosted by Rugby celebrity, Scott Hastings, held a raffle and a silent auction, in addition to the day’s Golf, which, it understands, collectively realised a total of £16,125, an increase of £1,500 over the sum raised in 2023; commends SG Pro Cleaning for its continued partnership, as well as Mr Hastings and all those taking part, and congratulates Scottish Autism on this excellent funding total, in addition to the sterling work that the charity does for those living with autism and their families and friends.
