Sophie Unwin and Jenny Holl Win Paralympic Gold

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Sophie Unwin and pilot, Jenny Holl, on winning Gold in the B 3000m individual pursuit at the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games; understands that Unwin won their first Paralympic Gold, alongside pilot Jenny Holl, originally from Blair Drummond, in the women's 3000m individual pursuit with a time of 3:19.149, and notes that the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games is taking place from 28 August to 8 September 2024, featuring as many as 4,400 athletes from around the world who will compete in 22 sports across various iconic venues in Paris, including at the Eiffel Tower, the Chateau de Versailles and the Grand Palais.
