Asda Kilmarnock Donates £1,900 to East Ayrshire Local Community Projects

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the news that Asda Kilmarnock has donated £1,900 to local community projects in East Ayrshire; understands that Hurlford Tenants and Residents Association received £400, East Ayrshire Churches Homelessness Action received £800, and Community Open Gardens Shortlees received £700; further understands that the Asda foundation has announced the launch of a new grant, Foodbank Fundamentals, which helps foodbanks and food providers access the funding they need to keep supporting people in need, by offering grants of up to £1,000; commends Asda Kilmarnock for its continued support for local community projects seeking to provide safe housing conditions, eradicate homelessness and promote the skill and health benefits of gardening, and congratulates each organisation for their efforts.
