90-year-old Glasgow Pensioner's Zipline to Help Homeless

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates 90-year-old pensioner, Gladys Speedie, on her impending zipline on 6 September 2024 to help homeless people in Glasgow; understands that she will take on a 100-feet zipline over the Clyde to raise funds for Glasgow City Mission, a Christian charitable organisation that focuses on helping vulnerable people; acknowledges that Gladys, who turned 90 in April this year, wanted to mark the event by helping others, and understands that she hopes her zipline will raise awareness of the homeless situation in the city.
