Asian Restaurant of the Year Awards Scotland 2024

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the many winners in myriad categories at the Asian Restaurant Of the Year Awards Scotland 2024; notes that the relevant awards for restaurants across Scotland, including the Mid-Scotland and Fife Region, were presented at the Asian Catering Federation Networking Dinner and Award Ceremony on the evening of 5 September 2024 in the Scottish Parliament’s Holyrood Room; understands that the Asian Catering Federation (ACF) represents around 35,000 caterers across the United Kingdom, helping them to find service excellence, customer loyalty and financial success within the Asian catering industry; considers that the annual Networking Dinner provides Members and guests with an opportunity to build relationships with key members of the Federation from across Scotland and to discuss the many impacts and staffing issues faced by the restaurant owners and catering businesses; commends all the businesses who entered and were shortlisted, as well Mr Yawar Khan, chair of the Asian Catering Federation, in addition to all its staff and members for the highly diligent service that they provide, and sends its sincere thanks to all attendees and guests at the event.
