Whitecraigs Tennis, Squash and Fitness Club Upgrade Facilities

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Whitecraigs Tennis, Squash and Fitness Club in Eastwood for organising impressive refurbishment works at the facility; understands that the sports club upgraded three squash courts and made improvements to the roof at the lounge area of the facility during the summer months; notes that the sports club has in the region of 300 members who make use of the squash facilities and that following the completion of the refurbishment works, a special exhibition match was organised to celebrate the re-opening of the courts; understands that the club will reach its 100 year anniversary in 2027 and that its aim is to upgrade other parts of the facility in the build up to this milestone occasion; commends everyone at Whitecraigs who was involved with the recent refurbishment works, and wishes the sports club every success in arranging further improvements at the sports facility in advance of the centenary celebration.
