Glasgow Restaurateur Wins Entrepreneur of the Year Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Muhammad Sultan, of Charcoals Restaurant, Glasgow, on winning the Entrepreneur of the Year Award for outstanding excellence in the catering industry at the Asian Restaurant Awards 2024, in conjunction with the Asian Catering Federation, held at the Scottish Parliament on 4 September 2024; notes that the business was established in 2012; understands that Sultan has been in the industry for over two decades; appreciates the success of the restaurant, along with Sultan's philanthropy and support of the homeless by providing food packs in all weathers, and wishes him every success for the future and in his continued efforts to assist people who are less fortunate.
