Sport Aberdeen Named Learn to Swim Provider of the Year
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Sport Aberdeen, which was named Learn to Swim Provider of the Year at the Scottish Swimming annual awards; notes that the awards ceremony took place on 21 September 2024 at Aberdeen's P&J Live; recognises that Sport Aberdeen provides swimming lessons to more than 5,500 children every week at its six pools across Aberdeen, in addition to the lessons that it offers for children with additional support needs, adults, and those who have aquaphobia; notes that Sport Aberdeen also provides free swimming lessons to children in P4 across the city, and commends Sport Aberdeen for its continued hard work and dedication to its Learn to Swim programme.
