Royal Dornoch Golf Club Shortlisted for Scotland’s Course of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Royal Dornoch Golf Club on being shortlisted as a finalist for Scotland: Course of the Year in The Golf Course Awards 2024; notes that the club's Championship Course has received this prestigious recognition following recent awards, including being named UK Junior Club of the Year by the Golf Foundation; commends the dedication of general manager, Neil Hampton, and the Royal Dornoch team in achieving such high regard within the golfing community; recognises the thoughtful improvements made to the Championship Course, which have been warmly received; celebrates Royal Dornoch’s outstanding ranking as the second greatest course in the world by Golf Digest, and wishes the club continued success and recognition at the upcoming awards ceremony in London.
