Care and Repair in Lanarkshire Awarded £20,000 for Safe as Houses Initiative

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Care and Repair in Lanarkshire on its award of £20,000 from the National Lottery Awards for All to make a difference in its community; understands that the two-year grant will be used to support the delivery of the Safe as Houses community safety initiative across Lanarkshire, which provides a variety of home safety and security measures, supplied and fitted free of charge, to victims of domestic abuse, crime and vulnerable members of society; commends Care and Repair in Lanarkshire on its award, and wishes it all the best in the future.
