Ryanair Opens Training Academy at Prestwick Airport

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the opening of an Engineering Training Academy at Prestwick Airport by Ryanair; understands that this £5 million investment will create 500 highly skilled jobs in the area, including licensed engineers, mechanics and support staff, and will see the addition of state-of-the-art classrooms and workshops and the installation of a training aircraft on site, and commends the investment by Ryanair at Prestwick Airport and the benefit that, it considers, it will bring to the local economy.
