Fallin Primary School's Gold School Sport Award

The motion

That the Parliament commends Fallin Primary School for securing a Gold School Sport Award from sportscotland; notes that Fallin Primary School has been commended by sportscotland for centring the voices of children in the decisions made around the delivery of sport in the school; further notes that the school has worked closely with Active Stirling in order to improve access; commends the school for giving extra opportunities for those who might struggle to access sport to attend extra-curricular clubs, including care experienced children and those from deprived backgrounds; understands that the support staff at the school have been key to this; congratulates the school on its success, and acknowledges what it sees as the importance of access to sport and physical activity for the wellbeing of children.
