Glasgow Law Firm, Weightmans, Wins Law Firm of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Glasgow team of the national law firm, Weightmans, on winning Law Firm of the Year, wider UK HQ, at The Herald Law Awards of Scotland 2024; notes that, now in their 20th year, the awards celebrate the most outstanding firms and people in the legal profession; understands that the firm is thrilled to receive the award, which, it believes, marks a remarkable achievement and testament to the team’s hard work and dedication to its clients within the Scottish legal sector; acknowledges that, competing with both independent firms and larger competitors, Weightmans, in Glasgow, has shown impressive performance across a variety of categories; considers that its expanding presence and quality work, along with a focus on staff development, underscore its commitment to establishing itself as a key player in the Scottish legal landscape, and understands that the win follows a year of growth for the Glasgow office.
