Clackmannanshire Christmas Wreath CHAS Fundraiser Returns
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the return of a local community group that sells Christmas wreaths in support of a children’s charity; understands that the Friends of Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) Clackmannanshire has announced that it is handcrafting wreaths again, for people to purchase, with all profits going to CHAS; believes that this fundraiser proved hugely successful in 2023, prompting the group, which was formed in 2023, to hold the initiative again; notes that Friends of CHAS Clackmannanshire is an offshoot of the main charity and holds various fundraisers through the year for the cause, and commends everyone involved for this magnanimous initiative.
