Congratulating East Lothian’s Latest Deputy Lieutenant Appointment, Jenny Harper

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Jenny Harper on her recent appointment as a Deputy Lieutenant of East Lothian; recognises that Jenny has devoted over 40 years of volunteering to the community; understands that the East Lothian lieutenancy is responsible for assisting with royal visits, honours, awards and celebrating 100th birthdays and diamond wedding anniversaries, as well as working with charities in the area, reserve forces, businesses and voluntary groups; thanks Jenny for her devotion to the community, and wishes her all the best in this important role.
