Thanking North Berwick Community Council Member Kathryn Smith for Her Exceptional Service

The motion

That the Parliament extends its heartfelt congratulations and deep appreciation to Kathryn Smith of North Berwick Community Council; recognises that Kathryn has served as the community council’s secretary for 16 years, demonstrating exceptional leadership and commitment to the town; commends her remarkable and longstanding contributions to politics, having spent over 30 years as a political activist; wishes her all the best for the future as she prepares to step down in 2025; expresses its gratitude for what it sees as her invaluable contribution and service to the community, and wishes Kathryn all the best and continued success in all her future endeavours.
