That the Parliament congratulates Chris McCausland on his remarkable achievement in winning the 2024 series of Strictly Come Dancing; commends what it sees as his exceptional talent, dedication and determination throughout the competition; believes that he has provided inspiration, as a visually impaired performer, breaking barriers and demonstrating that disability is no barrier to excellence; celebrates the joy that Chris and his professional dance partner brought to viewers across Scotland and the UK, and wishes Chris continued success in his career and future endeavours.
