Festive Fundraising Activities in Cardenden
The motion
That the Parliament applauds the fundraising endeavours of eight-year-old twins, Isabella and Anabella Roy, who have, for the last three years, been completing festive fundraisers to give back to their community; notes that 2024’s fundraising activities involved a 6km walk and run, which represents the average distance that it takes for someone to walk to a water source in Tanzania, and recognises that the money raised will be split between the Cardenden Fridge and a charity that repairs water wells in Tanzania.
