Commending the Banff Academy Class of 1976 on Raising £1,000 at School Reunion Event

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the efforts of former pupils of Banff Academy to raise funds to support current pupils; understands that a school reunion event for the class of 1976 pupils and former staff was held in November 2024 at the Deveronside Club, where people shared stories about their time at the school; notes that the former pupils were given a tour of the school; applauds the former pupils for raising £1,000 for Banff Academy, which was presented to the school before the Christmas break; understands that this money will be used to fund the school’s health and wellbeing activities for S1 to S3 pupils, and warmly commends the members of the class of 1976 for their generous efforts to support Banff Academy.
