Helensburgh’s Gordon Reid Wins Men’s Wheelchair Tennis Doubles at the 2025 Cajun Classic in Louisiana, USA
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Gordon Reid, who is from Helensburgh on winning the men’s wheelchair tennis doubles at the 2025 Cajun Classic in Louisiana, USA; notes that Gordon, along with his partner, Alfie Hewett, are now unbeaten in three doubles events encompassing eight matches in 2025 after their Melbourne Open Super Series and Australian Open victories in January; acknowledges that the 22-time Grand Slam champions have completed a trio of Cajun Classic doubles titles since 2023 and have won 13 career Super Series doubles titles together, and wishes the duo every success for future tournaments.
