Congratulating Professor Alessio Ciulli on the Biochemical Society’s 2026 Industry and Academic Collaboration Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Professor Alessio Ciulli and the team at the University of Dundee’s Centre for Targeted Protein Degradation (CeTPD) on receiving the Biochemical Society’s 2026 Industry and Academic Collaboration Award; acknowledges the university’s collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim in the field of targeted protein degradation, particularly through the ACBI PROTAC collaboration team; believes that this prestigious award highlights the global impact and scientific excellence of Dundee’s pioneering research in developing new treatments for varying cancer types, and notes the success of the partnership, since its inception in 2016.
