Congratulating Dr Morag Martin on the Research Support Award from the Biochemical Society

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Dr Morag Martin, who is innovation cluster manager at the University of Dundee, on receiving the prestigious Research Support Award from the Biochemical Society; notes that this award, introduced in 2022, recognises outstanding contributions to research support in life sciences; acknowledges Dr Martin’s key role in advancing research innovation by fostering collaboration across academia, government and industry, and by securing competitive funding to support life sciences translation and commercialisation; recognises what it sees as Dr Martin’s significant contribution to the development and implementation of the School of Life Sciences’ research strategy since joining the University in 2010, including helping to establish the Life Sciences Innovation Hub, and wishes Dr Martin continued success in her research support leadership.
