Clackmannan Distillery Commended

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the news that a new Clackmannan micro distillery has been recognised with a bronze medal at the London Spirits Competition 2025; understands that Andrew Bailey and his wife and business partner, Gillian, launched the enterprise late in 2024 and were said to have been delighted to have their work celebrated so early into the company’s journey; notes that the competition evaluates spirits based on taste, quality, value for money and packaging; considers that Heart of Scotland Distillery was commended for its London Dry Gin, with other products on offer including flavoured gin and salted vodka, along with hand painted glasses, and commends Andrew and Gillian on their sterling efforts and for their Clackmannanshire distillery being recognised on such a prestigious platform so early on.
