Trio of Awards Received at Moray and Banffshire Heroes Event

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the achievements of Graeme Gordon from Burghead, who was recently presented with a trio of awards during the Moray and Banffshire Heroes event; understands that Graeme was awarded the titles of Hero of Heroes and Volunteer and Emergency Worker of the Year; acknowledges his contribution to the coastguard service in Burghead over a period of 40 years; notes that he has attended in excess of 1,000 callouts during his four decades of service, saving countless lives; understands that these awards are given in recognition of his hard work, commitment and dedication to his community, and congratulates Graeme on his success at the awards, which he celebrated with his wife, Amanda, and their family.
