Jamieson & Carry Marks 100 Years Since the Opening of its Landmark Store in Aberdeen

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Jamieson & Carry, the independent, family-owned jewellery business in Aberdeen, on marking 100 years since the opening of its landmark store on Union Street in 1925; recognises what it sees as the company’s remarkable history, founded in 1733, and its enduring contribution to Aberdeen’s cultural and economic heritage; commends Jamieson & Carry for its recent expansion; acknowledges what it sees as the role of family-run businesses in fostering community pride and economic vitality across Scotland, and wishes Jamieson & Carry continued success with its business.
