The motion

That the Parliament understands that hundreds of residents, volunteers and pupils took part in a recent walk to raise awareness for Dementia Month; notes that the walk was organised by the Orchard Care Home in Tullibody and began from there on 16 May 2025, with residents, staff, family members, and volunteers walking along the town’s Lychgate Road to join staff and children from Glenview Nursery and Banchory Primary School; understands that Abercromby Primary School students also joined in, with the number of their pupils alone exceeding 300, and commends everyone involved for their highly magnanimous undertaking.
