Care Home Open Week 2025

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes Care Home Open Week 2025, taking place from 16 to 22 June, as a national initiative that opens care homes to their communities and promotes engagement, understanding and support for the social care sector; commends Championing Social Care for leading this important work, including the Great British Care Cycle Relay, which sets off from Glencairn Care Home in Edinburgh; recognises the dedication of care workers and the vital role they play in supporting older and vulnerable people, and encourages MSPs to visit a care home in their constituency to show support for local care teams and residents.
