CEO of Perthshire Company Set for Retirement

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Jackie Brierton MBE, who is set to retire as chief executive officer of GrowBiz, a local enterprise support company based in Coupar Angus, East Perthshire; notes that Jackie spent 14 years in the role and acknowledges that she helped to build GrowBiz into a nationally respected rural economy initiative, supporting more than 2,500 businesses and social enterprises in Perth and Kinross, the Cairngorms Park area and across rural Scotland; further notes that GrowBiz’s main priority is to support the sustainability and survival rates of rural businesses, and wishes Jackie Brierton all the best for her retirement, and GrowBiz continued success in the future.
