Oban Resident Takes Part in Four Kiltwalks for Charity
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Oban resident, Stella MacIver, for her dedication and for aiming to complete four kiltwalk challenges to raise funds for the Dove Centre in Oban; understands that Stella has already completed kiltwalks in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Dundee and is seeking to round it off with a fourth kiltwalk in Edinburgh; further understands that Stella had previously raised money for the Beatson Cancer Care Charity but that she also wanted to support a local charity, and as such, chose the Dove Centre, run by Oban Hospice, which offers a range of services to support those affected by cancer and other life-limiting illnesses; praises Stella for her selfless acts of kindness, and wishes her the very best for her last kiltwalk of the year in September 2025.
