Congratulating Keep Larbert and Stenhousemuir Beautiful

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Keep Larbert and Stenhousemuir Beautiful (KLSB) on receiving a £1,500 fuel donation from ASDA as part of the supermarket’s 60th anniversary celebrations; notes that KLSB was co-founded in 2019 by Sheona and John McMorran and runs a food bank, a community kitchen and regular events to tackle food insecurity and social isolation in the area; understands that the donation will help meet the cost of running the charity’s community van, which is used daily to collect donations and deliver food to pop-up pantries; understands that the fuel savings will allow KLSB to direct more resources towards providing fresh fruit, vegetables, milk and cheese for its members; commends ASDA for what it sees as its generosity, and pays tribute to the hard work and dedication of KLSB volunteers in supporting the people of Larbert and Stenhousemuir.
