Recognising the Contribution of Asda Grangemouth Through the Asda Foundation

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the contribution of Asda Grangemouth in supporting communities through the Asda Foundation; notes that the store awarded £2,500 to Polmont Together, which runs social projects for families and young people; further notes that £600 was given to Friends of Inchyra Park, which works to maintain and improve local green spaces and £1,000 to The Boys’ Brigade Falkirk and District Battalion, which provides youth development and outdoor activities; understands that these grants will help the organisations expand their services and strengthen community connections in Grangemouth, and welcomes the work of Asda Grangemouth in helping charities improve the quality of life for children, families and the wider community.
