Recognising the Contribution of Asda Stenhousemuir Through the Asda Foundation
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the contribution of Asda Stenhousemuir in supporting communities through the Asda Foundation; notes that the store awarded £1,000 to Grangemouth Sea Cadet Unit, which offers youth development and maritime skills; further notes that funding of £500 was given to Larbert FC 2009, which provides football coaching and activities for children and £1,000 to KLSB Community Group, which supports families through social activities and community projects; understands that these grants will help the organisations expand their programmes and provide more opportunities for young people, and welcomes the work of Asda Stenhousemuir in helping organisations strengthen communities.
