The motion

That the Parliament recognises the late Ros Dingwall for her 40 years of service in Aberfoyle Post Office; offers its condolences to Ros’s family and the community on the loss of a much-loved mother and grandmother who was an important figure in the community; understands that Ros was an active member of the SubPostmasters Union and worked tirelessly to keep services in place in Aberfoyle; further understands that she campaigned to keep banking services available in the area; commends her dedication to the community; notes that her daughters are continuing the effort to retain postal services for the village and surrounding rural communities, in what it sees as an excellent legacy that their late mother would be proud of, and extends its sympathy to those for whom this is a great loss.
