Weans’ Scran and Kitchin CIC, Cooking for Care and Migrant Children
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Weans’ Scran and Kitchin CIC, which is in Glasgow, on receiving £10,000 from National Lottery Awards for All Scotland; notes that the two-year project will deliver cooking classes for care-experienced, migrant and asylum-seeking children to build skills and social connections; acknowledges the National Lottery for supporting practical life-skills programmes; recognises the value of food education in building confidence and inclusion; understands that this benefits vulnerable children across Glasgow, and congratulates Weans’ Scran and Kitchin CIC.
