Teapot Trust SCIO Arts for Children with Long-term Health Conditions
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Teapot Trust SCIO, which is based in Glasgow, on receiving £19,380 from National Lottery Awards for All Scotland; notes that the two-year project continues to provide arts activities for children aged seven to 12 with long-term health conditions who are in children’s hospitals; acknowledges the National Lottery for supporting arts in health; recognises the therapeutic benefit of arts for children undergoing medical treatment; understands that this improves hospital experience for young patients and families in Glasgow, and commends the Teapot Trust.
