Celebrating 10 Years of the Ayr and Prestwick Street Pastors

The motion

That the Parliament notes with pride the 10th anniversary of the creation of the Ayr and Prestwick Street Pastors group; understands that the Street Pastors patrol Ayr town centre and Prestwick Main Street on Saturday nights and in the early hours of Sunday mornings; further understands that the group operates in conjunction with Police Scotland and South Ayrshire Council to provide support to people out and about at night; commends the work of the Ayr and Prestwick Street Pastors, and thanks them for their continued service to the community.
