Honouring Donnie Wilson’s Legacy in Scottish Football
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Donnie Wilson on reaching his 80th birthday; notes his distinguished career with Vale of Leven Football Club, where he played for over a decade and became one of the club’s finest players; understands that he made more than 165 appearances after signing in 1963; recognises his remarkable record, including scoring 118 goals; acknowledges the respect and admiration he continues to receive from the football community, and wishes him health and happiness in the years ahead.
