Champion School Inspires Young Musicians
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates St Benedict’s Primary School in Glasgow on being named Champion School at the 2025 Glasgow Community Champion Awards; notes that the school has a strong commitment to music education, ensuring that every child learns a musical instrument or participates in singing; recognises the importance of arts and music in primary education for developing creativity, confidence, discipline and team-working skills, and acknowledges the role of schools such as St Benedict’s in enriching the cultural life of their communities and offering children opportunities to explore and develop their talents from an early age.
