Compass School Raises Funds for Children’s Hospital
The motion
That the Parliament commends the Compass School, based in Haddington, East Lothian, for raising more than £1,500 to support a children’s hospital; recognises the generosity and community spirit demonstrated by pupils, staff and families in organising this fundraising initiative; acknowledges what it sees as the positive impact such efforts have on improving healthcare services for young patients and their families; believes that such activities strengthen community ties and encourage civic responsibility among young people, and wishes the Compass School continued success in its charitable endeavours and its commitment to supporting vital causes across Scotland.
