Clydesdale Cricket Club Named Club of the Year at the Scottish Sports Awards 2025
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Clydesdale Cricket Club, of Pollokshields in Glasgow, on winning Club of the Year at the sportscotland Scottish Sports Awards 2025; commends its exceptional 2025 season, delivering major impact across participation, inclusion, development, collaboration and performance, including extensive junior and women’s programmes, targeted support for refugee and asylum-seeker children, strong partnerships across the community and an unprecedented five-title First XI run, and thanks sportscotland for celebrating achievements across all levels of sport in Scotland.
