Busby Church Reaches 190-year Anniversary

The motion

That the Parliament recognises that 2026 marks the 190-year anniversary of the Busby Church in Eastwood; understands that Busby Church has served the local area for generations and it is a community-focused place of worship; notes that the church organises and hosts a significant number of events and activities each year for both worshippers and the wider local community; acknowledges that the church provides a welcoming and friendly environment for all visitors and local residents; congratulates everyone who is involved with the church for its outstanding contribution to the local area, and looks forward to Busby Church continuing to serve the community with distinction for another 190 years.
