Kathryn Jane Bennet of Helensburgh Appointed MBE in the Kings New Year Honours List

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Kathryn Jane Bennet of Helensburgh, Chair of Gareloch Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), on being appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by King Charles in the New Year Honours list; notes that she has spent more than 20 years helping disabled people in the town and across the west of Scotland; understands that the organisation has over 80 participants, who are supported by 70 volunteers, and currently has five horses and ponies, and wishes Kathryn and the volunteers of Gareloch RDA every success for the future.
