Kathleen Murray of Helensburgh Receives OBE in the King's New Year Honours List

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Kathleen Murray of Helensburgh on being appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) by King Charles in the New Year Honours List for services to children's hearings in Scotland: believes that the hearings are vital services, ensuring the welfare of vulnerable children and young people through court-like panels; acknowledges her dedication to child protection, justice and outcomes in Scotland; appreciates her involvement in training, policy, and direct service within the hearings system, and wishes Kathleen every success for her future endeavours.
