Congratulations to Bartholomew McCran on His BEM for Voluntary Services

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Bartholomew McCran on receiving a British Empire Medal (BEM) in The King’s New Year Honours 2026 for his voluntary services to The Royal British Legion and to ex-service people in Glasgow; notes his dedication to supporting veterans and their families; understands the importance of recognising and assisting those who have served in the armed forces; recognises Bartholomew's sustained commitment to the ex-service community, and acknowledges the vital role of volunteers in ensuring that veterans receive appropriate support and recognition.
