The motion

That the Parliament congratulates University of Stirling swimmer Angharad Evans and swim coach Ben Higson on their selection for Team Scotland ahead of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games; recognises Stirling University’s achievement as Scotland's University for Sporting Excellence; commends Angharad’s hard work and commitment to swimming and Ben’s support and guidance as coach; looks forward to the Commonwealth Games getting under way, and extends its very best good luck wishes to Angharad and all her team and for success at the event.
